For those who couldn’t attend, here are some highlights from our treasured day:

• This year’s TB Golf Outing winners were… drum roll please… Arnie Sinclair, Jeff Arnold, Kerry Taylor, and Ryan Hardy! They won with a very impressive score, and their names will soon be added to the beautiful granite plaque that is displayed at the golf course all year long. Congrats, guys!

• Just as last year, there was a free Bloody Mary bar to start off the day, free hot dogs and chips throughout the event, and both a raffle and silent auction full of amazing donations and prizes to close out the event!

• This year the incredible Tommy Bahama cooler filled with alcohol (enough to fuel many gatherings!) and other items – graciously donated and put together by the Tillemans family – was won by Julie Lieberg! Woo-hoo!

• We had a bright and sunny day for the Tom Bearson Golf Outing! A nice change from the rain and difficult weather from the last two tournaments, this year was filled with sunshine, golf, and good times – something Tom definitely would’ve enjoyed.

Finally, as difficult as it is to adequately express how truly grateful we are to all those who help keep Tom’s memory alive, there are some people we would like to explicitly thank. First and foremost, thank you to the Tom Bearson Foundation’s Board of Directors, which includes: Tony and Joyce Tillemans, John and Cheryl Lovitz, Dave and Dana Fischer, Greg and Kelley Neeser, John and Yvette Dockendorf, Tom Bevans, Ryan Walsh, and Rob Schumann.

Also, thank you to the 25 volunteers who gave up their Saturday and worked tirelessly to make such a special event happen. The continued support from our community and friends is beyond incredible. Second, we would also like to thank our more than 50 sponsors! We’d like to say a special thank you to Paul Morrison/ReMax and West Central who were our main sponsors. Third, thank you to the various people and companies that donated wonderful door prizes and silent auction items! Lastly, thank you so much to our photographers – Scott Edelbrock and Abigail Gans – for taking such amazing pictures that we will cherish.

We will be forever thankful to every person and company who donated, participated, and supported the Tom Bearson Foundation’s goals and events over the last – almost – three years. Thank you all for making such an important day so special and wonderful! We can’t wait to see everyone again next year!
