Tom Bearson Memorial Basketball Courts
The Tom Bearson Foundation is a non-profit organization helping our community in the memory of Tom, and the creation of the Tom Bearson Memorial Basketball Courts will be our final project.
This is a collaboration between the city of Sartell and the Tom Bearson Foundation.
What: Three high school sized basketball courts featuring custom high-quality tiles and basketball hoops
Where: Pinecone Central Park, Sartell, MN
When: Breaking ground / begin construction Spring 2022
Fundraising Goal: $100K
Tom Bearson Foundation Commitment: $150K
City of Sartell Commitment: The City of Sartell will provide an approximately $75K total investment. They will provide land in Pinecone Central Park, provide court tiles from a previous basketball court in Sartell, donate Public Works crew time and labor, and will oversee the project from start to finish.

These amenities will be added to PCP in 2022: Mr. Twisty’s full-service restaurant, two kid’s playgrounds, a hockey rink, and additional parking

In the future, there are plans for a kid’s splash pad, paved walking trails, lights, benches and picnic tables, and an additional park entrance on the north side of the park
